We had 66 people attend our Second Annual Immunization Professionals Workshop. Door prizes were supplied by Clark and Daughtrey, Keiser University, Origami Owl, and Garrett Medical Supply. Our speakers were: Kathleen Bailey, MBA, Dr. Doug Holt, and Dr. Sarah Steinhardt.
Volunteers from Travis Tech provided us with these photos. The Polk County Immunization Coalition received sponsorship funding for this event from the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Pfizer, sanofi, and Novartis.
Featured speakers were:
Dr. Douglas Holt, MD, FACP, IDSA, – Division Director of Infectious Disease & International Medicine at USF – Morsani College of Medicine; Director of FL Department of Health in Hillsborough County. Dr. Holt is acclaimed as an “Outstanding Teacher” by students, residents and fellows.
Sarah J. Steinhardt, PharmD, JD, MS – Assistant Professor, University of South Florida College of Pharmacy & College of Public Health, Departments of Pharmacy Practice & Health Policy and Management; J.D. from Indiana University, PharmD from Purdue University, MS from University of Pittsburgh
Kathleen Bailey, CPA, MBA, CPC, CPC-I, an educator and healthcare consultant in Tampa Florida has her BS in Accounting and MBA degrees from Florida State University. In addition she has over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare industry.
